A friendly
introduction to the basics of stone carving where students will be surprised by
their own pleasing and satisfying results.
With no
previous experience required, students will achieve carving a Tudor rose,
Celtic Knot or Medieval beast.

A TWO-DAY
LETTER CUTTING WORKSHOP
A friendly
introduction to the basics of letter carving where students will be surprised
by their own pleasing and satisfying results.
With no
previous experience required, students will achieve carving their own house
name or number as well as learning the basics of incised letter cutting for
longer inscriptions.
The course
will consist of:

and an introduction to the Stone, Tools and Safety.

use of the tools and their sharpening.
Choosing
the stone

letter cutting theory.
Practice
cutting

Improving the shapes
